Intelligent Hoverboard for Wheelchair Balancing (WCHB)

The team proposes the development of an intelligently modified hoverboard that will support a wheelchair in a wheelie position, just like it supports an able-bodied person in standing. This portable, electric-powered device will transform a manual wheelchair into a highly maneuverable mobility device capable of high speeds, long distances while necessitating high-level balance and coordination, both indoors or outdoors.
