Dr. Tzu-Hao Huang is a research scientist and lab manager in the department of mechanical engineering, City University of New York. His expertise is in robotics, machine learning, smart textile sensors, rehabilitation engineering, and brain computer interface. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering of National Taiwan University in 2013 and His research focuses on machine learning and its application in assistive robotics. His bachelor’s degree is the occupational therapy and had the working experience in the hospital. In additional, he also had the research experience to develop the exoskeleton in the media lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012. His was a lead engineer in the Smart Textile Research Institute and focused on the developing of the soft smart textile sensors from 2014-2017.
