Paul has been actively engaged in the field of Assistive Technology since 1995 in a variety of operational and strategic roles.
He currently manages the Access Centre at Hereward College. Hereward is a college that supports people with physical, sensory and cognitive impairments in Coventry.
Paul is responsible for the acquisition and embedding of assistive technologies (including numerous smart home technologies) into the 24 hour curriculum at Hereward as well as managing the College DSA assessment centres.
Paul also leads a team of researchers undertaking projects in and around the field of assistive technology, with diverse objectives including:
Capturing user experiences of innovations in AT (including mobility products)
Workforce development projects aimed at underpinning the assessment and installation of assistive technologies (including telehealth/telecare and robotics)
